Another Pressing Issue

Owners have been receiving their rental results since the Vacatia take over, at amounts well below prior years.

We have created a form to track results and determine if there's any negligence, breach of fiduciary duty, or other cause for relief to owners.

Provide your responses and any feedback as needed.

  4. I am an owner at Grandview at Las Vegas. I own 32 weeks there which I rent most of them out and I just received my latest rental checks from them and it was only 250 for each week which is BS because normally I would get $750-$800 for them We need to contact an attorney that handles class action lawsuits because I’m sure everybody’s in the same boat

  5. I have week 2 and I am still waiting to hear back about my rental check. No one is responding to my emails! I am guessing from what others are saying that I would be lucky to get anything this year to cover next year's maintenance fees!

  7. With all that is going on with fees, annual dues, no responsiveness to owners, etc. I'm looking to get rid of my Grandview needed week, however I'm fearful that even if I offer to give it away and pay all expenses, even go as far as paying 2027 dues that I wont get any bites. What other ways are there to get out of a timeshare without taking a credit hit or paying thousands of dollars to a lawyer. Any advise is appreciated.

  8. I've owned a 2BR lock off unit since 2007. When I bought the unit I was told by the salesman that I could ask GV to rent the unit for me if I didn't need to use it in a given year (which has been most of the time) and that the rental proceeds less admin fees for the rental service would be returned to me. I was told the minimum rental (the word guarantee was used) would be 3 nights, but that generally- in most years they'd be able to rent it for more. In a few of the years GV was unable to rent the unit for 7 nights due to Covid or another understandable cause. Until 2025 I always received enough to cover more than the annual maintenance assessment. The rental check received for 2025 covered only about half of the assessment. When I asked GV I was told the low amount was due to Vacatia's new policy is to deduct the total of "delinquincy costs" in the year from the total of all rental proceeds. They will then deliver the same amount to each owner. When I objected to the idea of subsidizing other owner's delinquencies I was told to contact Vacatia. I did contact Vacatia and received an email that confirmed this new policy. When I finally reached a person at Vacatia they defended the policy offering the absurd illustration that it was like a restaurant where all the waiters, cooks and staff took and then divide up the tips equally at the end of each shift! She further said that Vacatia and GV are under no obligation to do me a favor to rent the unit on my behalf. She's probably right on that point, because I have nothing in writing to that effect- but the many prior years of receiving this 'service' may count for something if this is pursued legally. Appreciate any comments.
