Heads up: Lawsuit and Higher Maintenance Fees

 Heads Up: Grandview Owners

A lawsuit has been filed against the Grandview at Las Vegas Owner's Association by the estate of a man who died after staying at the resort.

A quick review of public records in Clark County indicates that he may have exchanged into the property, owning at either Tahiti Village, Tahiti Resort, or Club De Soleil.

Even if the lawsuit is settled or covered by insurance this may result in increased premiums, raising the costs in our budget.

It the terminal disease is linked to Grandview (he's also suing Southpoint), that may indicate poor maintenance and management of our resort pools and hot tubs.

I plan to ask about this lawsuit at the Annual Meeting.

Please share thoughts, questions, or information you find related to this.

Another Pressing Issue

Owners have been receiving their rental results since the Vacatia take over, at amounts well below prior years.

We have created a form to track results and determine if there's any negligence, breach of fiduciary duty, or other cause for relief to owners.

Provide your responses and any feedback as needed.
